A collection of what inspires me to put some paint on paper.

KEEP A GREEN TREE IN YOUR HEART...

A chinese proverb:

KEEP A GREEN TREE IN YOUR HEART AND PERHAPS A SINGING BIRD WILL COME

A happy attitude can work wonders, but it is a gloomy and rainy day here today. The snow depth has been cut from 2 feet to 1 foot. Mud season has begun. The gravel driveway is soft and soggy. The grassy areas that have opened up as the snow leaves the yard feel like a bog. If you want to get out, it's best to do it early morning or late night when, hopefully, the ground is somewhat firmer.

It would be easy to cave in to the blahs with this weather, but not today - I played a little Adele on the record player (okay, maybe a lot...I really should find an Adele support group) and dipped my brush into some fresh paint.

Music and fresh paint keep my tree real green, even during mud season.
