I am happiest with a paint brush in hand and fresh paint on the plate. I like to paint my surroundings simply because I am charmed by it all; a tree frog swimming in the rain barrel, a doe and her fawn grazing in the field, wild finches feeding on the zinnia seed heads, & raspberries picked fresh from the garden.
